As a previous winner (twice!) of the Calor Village of the Year Competition, St Tudy was invited to enter the 10^th Anniversary Competition this year.  On Thursday 6^th April the three judges were welcomed by WI President Mrs Judith Jasper who showed them around our wonderful village.   

In the newly decorated and recently extended Village Hall they were given a presentation by Judith, together with Victor Mann representing the young people and newcomers and Patricia Hodge who has lived in St Tudy all her life.

The many organisations and clubs had put on an exciting show of their activities.  Villagers gathered to support everything – and enjoy a super tea afterwards!  We now await the judges decision – and if successful we’ll have to stage it all again in July!  Even if we don’t win it was good to come together to see just how much does go on in St Tudy.
